Mixing head traversing unit

Two-way traversing unit with selectable electrical or compressed-air drive system, whereas the two drive systems can be combined as required. The pneumatic X-axis covers three positions, the Z-axis two and the operating position equals the end-position in each case. The electrical axes are actuated by regulated servo drives, allowing the operating positions to be programmed as desired. A keyboard-operated, dialog/menu-based system is used to run, program and control the machine – while the operating data is displayed on a screen fitted to the central dosing and mixing control unit. The system is designed for use in situations where the mixing head needs to traverse along a straight line.

  • Chassis section based on a robust welded steel-frame construction, supplied coated and fitted with adjustable leveling feet and floor-anchoring points
  • Guide blocks with maintenance-free, low-wear linear bearings
  • Supply-line guide chains are used on all sizes of the mixing-head traversing unit to secure the compressed-air, electrical and hydraulic power lines
  • Control via the “IPC” unit in the dosing and mixing unit
  • Control unit and all electrical subassemblies are installed in the switchgear cabinet of the dosing and mixing unit
  • Load capacity: 20 kg
